New News

Finally. The two movies are out.

I can now heave a sigh of relief and watch all the national chaos on the telly like good 'ol times.
Whether its Mamta Banerjee wailing her guts out in Nandigram or the lil kid with 8 limbs or good 'ol Sonia Gandhi reading out verbatim from her transliterated script...I really missed watching all the real news which was moreorless overshadowed with all the hue 'n cry over the Diwali releases 'Om Shanthi Om' and 'Saawariya'.
Seriously.
One more look at Shahruk's hand getting stuck to Deepika Padukone's pallu or Ranbir Kapoor prancing about the sets of Saawariya in his white towel which looks like its gonna fall off any second and I will solemnly swear never again to switch on the telly (news channels, get a life. Please.)

But wait a minute...whats that I hear you say..Its not yet over???
Movie review time???

Oh Dear.

:P

& Yes, hype had its way. From the initial reviews & reactions coming out OSO has clearly outdone Sawariya, & yes I do feel the campaigning was a bit too much an the nes channels are really short of news these days.

@S.h.a.s.h.i: Tell me about it! I'm glad its all over. Thanks for stopping by. :)

@BPSK: 7am eh? Well I'll be damned! Lol...well, what can I say..SRK rules outside the country as much as inside it.

@P.r.e.e.t.i:
Gurlfirend!! You got to watch Saawariya eh?? Lucky bum..hehe...well I knew that it would suck but I really wanted to watch it on Saturday at least but the guys at Sathyam said that they're booked for the next 5 days or something. But still.... monopolising news slots is a no-no according to me :)

@Vaij: Yes madam...I;ve heard too ;)

@Lavanya: Touche! :D

@Kalyan: Yeah. I have nothing against campaigning for the movies. I just think its annoying when they take most of the slots in the movie channels. :)

@Busy_writer: Yes..lol..that too!
